Palo Verde

On the Palo Verde tree the leaves are very skinny with tiny holes, and so the process occurs in its bark. The Palo Verde is drought deciduous. That means during summer, it drops its leave to prevent losing water. When the leaves drop off, the tree’s branches take over the job of photosynthesis. This helps sustain during drought and high temperatures.
